MIAMI, FLA. – Airport security officers at Miami International Airport made an unexpected discovery last week when they found a passenger attempting to smuggle a bag of snakes in their pants.
The incident occurred on April 26 at a checkpoint, where officers detected the small bag concealed in the passenger’s trousers.
The bag contained two small snakes, which were later turned over to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.
The U.S. Transportation Security Administration (TSA) shared details of the incident in a post, along with a photo of the snakes found inside what appeared to be a sunglasses bag.
