LOS ANGELES – Lisa Bonet, 56, known legally as Lilakoi Moon, has officially filed for divorce from Jason Momoa, 44, in Los Angeles County court, marking the end of their 18-year relationship. The filing, made on Monday, cites irreconcilable differences and comes almost two years after the couple’s separation announcement.
The divorce documents state that neither party is seeking financial support, and they have already reached an agreement on the division of their assets. The couple shares joint custody of their 16-year-old daughter and 15-year-old son.
While Momoa gained fame for his roles in the “Aquaman” movies and “Game of Thrones,” Bonet’s notable works include “The Cosby Show,” its spinoff “A Different World,” and films like “High Fidelity” and “Enemy of the State.”
Although the pair began dating in 2005, they didn’t legally marry until 2017. The divorce documents specify October 2020 as their separation date, more than a year before their public announcement. The divorce is expected to be finalized at least six months from now.
This marks the first marriage for Momoa and the second for Bonet, who was previously married to musician Lenny Kravitz and shares another daughter, actor Zoe Kravitz, with him.
