At the Casamigos Halloween party in Los Angeles on a Friday night, the adoration for a particular memoir author was undeniable, as numerous stars paid tribute to the iconic Britney Spears with their attention-grabbing costumes.
Leading the pack was Paris Hilton, who expertly recreated Spears’ unforgettable blue flight attendant ensemble from her 2003 music video for the hit song “Toxic.” Hilton proudly shared a video of her costume on her Instagram, where she wrote in the caption, “In honor of our Queen” and included the hashtag #IconsOnly.
The admiration between Hilton and Spears is clearly mutual. In her recently released memoir titled “The Woman In Me,” Spears expressed her gratitude for Hilton, noting, “one of the people who was kindest to me when I really needed kindness was Paris Hilton. So much of America dismissed her as a party girl, but I found her elegant.”
Hilton and Spears were frequently in the headlines during the mid-2000s when they were often seen out and about with Lindsay Lohan. This period coincided with Spears going through a divorce and a custody battle with ex-husband Kevin Federline. Spears reflected on this challenging time, saying, “She saw that I had babies and that I was suffering from the breakup, and I think she felt sorry for me. She came over to my house, and she helped me out so much. She was just so sweet to me.”
On this Friday night, Jessica Alba also paid homage to Spears by donning an outfit from the “Toxic” music video, specifically the flesh lace and glitter bodysuit. Baby2Baby co-CEO Kelly Sawyer Patricof joined Alba for a photo, dressed as Britney’s iconic schoolgirl look from the 1998 hit “Hit Me Baby One More Time.”
Noteworthy costumes were also spotted on Austin Butler and Kaia Gerber, who arrived as Andy Warhol and Edie Sedgwick, respectively. Gerber’s parents, Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber, who were co-hosting the party, dressed as the famous pop culture duo Sandy and Danny from “Grease.”
Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly opted for a Quentin Tarantino theme, with Fox embodying the killer Gogo and Kelly wearing Uma Thurman’s iconic yellow outfit from “Kill Bill.”
To complete the lineup, Justin Bieber, Glenn Powell, and Edward Norton made an appearance at the bash, seemingly dressed as soccer superstar David Beckham, complete with neck tattoos and all.
