Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan expressed optimism that Armenia and Azerbaijan could potentially reach a peace agreement by the end of the year. Pashinyan conveyed his commitment to making every effort to facilitate this development, according to Russia’s TASS state news agency.
TASS quoted Pashinyan, who indicated that it is improbable for any formal documents to be signed during his upcoming meeting with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in October. Nonetheless, the Prime Minister remains hopeful that substantial progress towards a lasting peace can be achieved in the near future.
