French President Emmanuel Macron expressed his readiness on Sunday to provide assistance in response to the earthquake in Morocco, which has claimed the lives of over 2,000 individuals, contingent on a request from Rabat.
Macron made this announcement during a press briefing in New Delhi following the conclusion of a G20 summit. He stated, “We have assembled all necessary technical and security teams to be prepared for intervention when the Moroccan authorities consider it necessary.”
